As Electronics Engineer at K2 Photonics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cutting-edge laser technology products. You will be at the forefront of designing and developing sophisticated electronic control systems, signal processing solutions, and data analysis tools for our advanced laser systems. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, where your contributions will have a direct impact on the performance and success of our products.

  • Develop electronic control systems for laser applications
  • Implement FPGA-based real-time-signal processing
  • Assist with the development of data processing algorithms
  • Work on system integration by assisting with the creation of user-facing applications & protocols
  • Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts
  • Conduct rigorous testing to ensure system reliability and performance is meeting industry standards
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including optics, software, and mechanical engineering, to ensure system integration and performance
  • Continuously improve our systems based on new technologies and feedback from customers and team members
  • Participate in production, taking care of assembly of electronics related parts
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics engineering, ideally with a focus on system design and development for laser or similar high-tech applications
  • Proven expertise in FPGA programming and signal processing
  • Strong knowledge of electronics, circuit design and PCB layout
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members
  • Fluency in English, German is a plus

Must be eligible to work in Switzerland on a full-time basis
